Merger Notifications – New Thresholds

Notification forms and other notification documents can be submitted in hard copy to: Competition Enforcement and Mergers Division, Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Bloom House, Railway Street, Dublin 1. In addition to the hard copy, the appropriate address for electronic documents is mergers@ccpc.ie.
Notice re Revised Thresholds
The CCPC also reminds notifying parties that, from 1 January 2019, the financial thresholds at which notification of a merger or acquisition to the CCPC is required, are changing.
Undertakings will be obliged to notify the CCPC when:
- The aggregate turnover in the State of the undertakings involved is not less than €60,000,000 and,
- The turnover in the State of each of 2 or more of the undertakings involved is not less than €10,000,000
