CCPC welcomes new Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Minister Niamh Smyth

Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Niamh Smyth paid a visit to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) headquarters in Dublin 1 on Wednesday 26 February.
The Minister was welcomed by Chairperson Brian McHugh, alongside Commission members Úna Butler and Patrick Kenny.
The Commission members discussed planned action by the Commission, current priorities and the Programme for Government with the Minister.
CCPC Chair, Brian McHugh said:
“We were very pleased to welcome the Minister to the CCPC. The aim of the CCPC is to make markets work better for consumers and businesses, and to promote the interests and welfare of consumers. It was a pleasure to meet the Minister and we enjoyed updating her on our impact and progress.”
