The proposed transaction whereby a 50/50 joint venture between (UPMC) Ireland Limited (University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre) and Bon Secours Health System Limited will be set up as Druid Stone Limited (to be renamed Cork Radiation Oncology Associates Limited), for purposes of providing radiotherapy services at Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, has been cleared by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

Druid Stone Limited, which is in the process of being renamed Cork Radiation Oncology Associates Limited, is the vehicle through which the joint venture, offering radiation therapy to patients at Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, will be set up.
