Taking Care of Business event for small business owners

On Wednesday, 8 November, small business owners or those thinking about starting their own business are invited to a free event – Taking Care of Business.
Hosted by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Taking Care of Business is a unique event which gives business owners access to 30 state bodies, including the CCPC, all under the one roof.
The purpose of the Taking Care of Business event is to:
- Help individuals and businesses understand the main regulations that affect them
- Provide an opportunity to meet experts from a broad range of public bodies in an informal setting
- Find out about the supports that are available to businesses
The CCPC will be taking part, providing an introduction to the CCPC and giving information about competition and consumer protection legislation and how it affects SMEs.
The event will open with a keynote address from the Tánaiste and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Frances Fitzgerald TD, who together with Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection Pat Breen TD, is supporting this essential event for existing and potential entrepreneurs.
The event will be held in the Printworks Conference Centre in Dublin Castle and run for half a day from 8:30am. A full agenda and additional details are available here.
