Roll up, roll up – it’s carnival time at the Ploughing!

It’s nearly that time of year again when someone is sure to ask “are you going to the ploughing?” The 2023 National Ploughing Championships take place in the village of Ratheniska, County Laois. It runs for three days from Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 September.
For the first time, we are pitching up at this landmark event. We’d love to see you all there! Pop by our fun carnival-themed stand and say hi. You might even bag some goodies while you’re at it!
Where to find us
We will be located in the Government of Ireland village. Find us in Block 3, Row 22, Stand 348.
Our team will guide you through some fun activities where you will have the chance to learn more about your consumer rights, unsafe products and pick up tips on how to be good with money. Our staff will also be available to answer any questions you have. The event runs from 9am each day and closes at 6pm.
What you can expect
We’ll have a carnival theme at our stand, where you can throw your hat in the ring by trying out our fun interactive challenges. Here’s a sneak preview of what you will find when you drop by our stand:

How well do you know your consumer rights? Chance your arm at our consumer rights quiz using our specially designed touchscreen game.
Wheel of Misfortune
Spin our wheel of misfortune to find out about the hazards of day-to-day objects. Our product safety experts will be on hand to demonstrate the dangers to look out for and how to stay safe.
Tombola
Another fairground attraction to try out is our big tombola. We have lots of personal finance tips in our rotating drum for you to discover. Have a go at the tombola and you could land yourself a treat, as well as tips for managing your money.
