Our Money, Our Future: Sponsorship for post-primary schools

We are excited to launch Our Money, Our Future a pilot programme of sponsorship for post-primary schools and Youthreach Centres. This pilot programme will form part of Global Money Week. Teachers and school leaders can apply for sponsorship of up to €1,000 to support learners as they develop and engage in innovative financial literacy initiatives within their schools and centres. This is part of our ongoing work to promote responsible financial behaviour and understanding from a young age, empowering consumers to make good choices.  

The aim is to showcase a selection of the schools’ initiatives at our Global Money Week event in March 2025, celebrating the work and seeing how different schools have approached their financial literacy challenge. Stay tuned for further updates.

What is Our Money, Our Future?  

Our Money, Our Future is a CCPC sponsorship of up to €1,000 for post-primary schools/centres to develop financial literacy initiatives. The aim is to promote and enable the development of financial literacy skills for young people. 

How do I apply?  

To apply for sponsorship for your school/centre’s financial literacy initiative, please complete the application form by 5.00 pm, 18 October 2024.

What can my school do with the sponsorship? 

Have a look at the information for teachers section of the website to get some handy tips and ideas for your school’s financial literacy initiative. This includes identifying the ways that financial education connects to a wide range of subject areas, and a toolkit to support teachers and school leaders as they consider the types of initiatives they might work on with their students.
