Aldi Stores (Ireland) Limited/Leisuregrow Products Ltd are carrying out a voluntary recall of Garden Bright Solar Tea Lights (Set of 6).

The affected products were sold between 27 May 2021 and 07 June 2021.

A safety issue has been identified with the solar tea lights which were available in Aldi Stores in the Republic of Ireland:

There is a risk of injury with Garden Bright Solar Tea Lights (Set of 6) as a small number of batteries may overheat and explode.

The Product Code is 711631. The Barcode is 4088600390703 (White) and 4088600390710 (Amber).

There were 6,023 sets of the product sold to consumers in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

If you believe that you may have purchased an affected product, discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children. Aldi requests that customers return the product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given.
