Product Safety Information Notice on an electrical charger sold on the Wish Platform

A safety issue has been identified with the following 12V electrical transformer/charger which was available on the Wish platform.

There is a manufacturing defect where the supply cable conducters are not sufficiently secured. The accidental detaching of a conductor may reduce the clearances and creepage distances required for double or reinforced insulation, which will lead to a reduction in the insulation between the live parts and the accessible external surfaces of the equipment.

This may lead to an electric shock.

There are approximately 4 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

   

What to do:

If you believe that you may have purchased an affected product, discontinue use immediately and discard the product immediately. Purchasers of these products from the Wish platform will be alerted by Wish of this issue.
