A safety issue has been identified with a Salbay LED Illuminated Bathroom Mirror Cabinet with Shaver Socket sold on the Amazon platform.

The product presents a risk of electric shock and fire as the shaver socket is connected directly to mains which could cause an electric shock and internal parts of the product were covered in a wax paper masking tape, which could ignite under fault conditions.

The brand, batch number and barcode are unknown. The Amazon ASIN is B08GY27DLG. The model number is 5070-T (JG5070A). The cabinet is available in two types, type A is the cabinet subject to this notice.

The product was sold online through the Amazon platform. There are approximately 3 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
