The product presents a risk of fire and burns. The mains supply cord has excessive resistance which, if the product was plugged in, could lead to overheating and the cord catching fire. This is turn could lead to the user getting burnt from touching the plug or from debris. The plug also did not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant safety standard.

The brand is AIBOO. The model number is HYT-1202000. Amazon ASIN is B07KXLN2YP. The barcode and batch number are unknown.

The product was sold online through Amazon. There are approximately 24 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
