A safety issue has been identified with a Personalised Baby Soother holder on the eBay platform.

The product presents a risk of choking and strangulation as the product contains detachable small parts that a child can put in their mouth and choke on. The bead component of the soother holder has no ventilation holes. A child can put the bead component into their mouth and as there would not be enough air to pass around it, the child may choke. The product also has a length of 308mm, which is longer than the maximum permitted length for these products, therefore, there is a strangulation risk.
