Black Diamond Equipment recalls Neve Strap Crampons (green 2024 version)

Black Diamond Equipment are carrying out a recall on Neve Strap Crampons (green 2024 version).

The risk presented by this product is injuries. The screws which connect the plastic heel cup to the aluminium heel unit of the Neve Strap Crampon, can loosen and allow the heel cup to detach from the crampon, posing a fall hazard.

The brand is Black Diamond. The model is Green Neve Strap Crampon. The Style is #400073. These products were also sold as part of the Neve Strap Binding Accessory Kit (style #400683) and Neve Strap Heel Cup Screw and Nuts (style # 400687) and these are also part of the recall.

There are approximately 2 affected products in the Republic of Ireland and were sold between January 2024 and May 2024.

What to do:

Customers who own the Green, Black Diamond Neve Strap Crampon or the strap accessories sold between January and May 2024 should immediately stop using them and contact Black Diamond for a refund at warranty@blackdiamond.eu or call their customer service team on +43 12537 459 333.
