Product Safety Information notice on Various Babboe Cargo Bikes

Babboe is recalling CITY, CITY E, MINI, MINI E, Pro Trike, Pro Trike-E, Pro Trike XL, City Mountain (produced before 2020), Slim Mountain, Transporter and Transporter E cargo bikes.

These products present an injury risk. Hairline cracks may appear in the frame of the models shown. These cracks can lead to the frame breaking, which may lead to serious injury.

The brand is Babboe. The models affected are Babboe CITY, CITY-E, MINI, Mini-E, Pro Trike, Pro Trike-E, Pro Trike XL, City Mountain (produced before 2020), Slim Mountain, Transporter and Transporter E cargo bikes.

In addition, the following Babboe cargo bike models will be inspected and if necessary, repaired: Curve / Curve Mountain, Big, Dog, Mini Mountain, City Mountain (Post 2020), Carve Mountain, Go Mountain, Flow Mountain, Curve-E, Big-E, Dog-E, Max-E, Carve-E, Go-E, Flow-E, Pro Bike-E and Pro Bike Midmotor.

In Ireland different Market Surveillance Authorities have responsibility for different pieces of EU legislation. The Health and Safety Authority are the Market Surveillance Authority for the CITY-E, Mini-E, Curve-E, Big-E, Dog-E, Max-E, Carve-E, Go-E, Flow-E and Pro Bike-E e bikes (and all e-bikes/electric bikes).
