Appliances Direct is carrying out a recall of ElectriQ CD10L V5 Dehumidifier.

The product poses a fire hazard due to a possible manufacturing defect in the circuit board, which could lead to overheating and cause a fire.

The brand is ElectriQ. The type/number of model is CD10L V5. The batch numbers are 2209, 2301, and 2302. Serial numbers prefixed with 2209, 2301 and 2302 are affected.  The bar code is 5056549327967.

There are approximately 524 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The product was also sold online via the ElectriQ store through Amazon and eBay.

The sales period for the products within the Republic of Ireland was from December 2022 to July 2023.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately.
