What is Global Money Week?
March 12, 2025
Global Money Week is just around the corner, kicking off from the 17-23 March 2025.
This year’s theme focuses on helping young people separate fact from fiction and find reliable money tips. In a world of influencers and social media, knowing where to find trusted financial advice is more important than ever!
Throughout Global Money Week, children and young people will have the chance to learn about the necessary money management skills, attitudes and behaviours needed to make smarter future financial decisions.
With the help of our partner organisations, young people in Ireland can explore topics like savings, taxes, cryptocurrencies, and scams through podcasts, webinars, quizzes, workshops and school visits.
So, what’s next?
The CCPC launched Ireland’s 2025 national Global Money Week campaign in Croke Park on Wednesday 12 March.
The event recognised the valuable work organisations around Ireland are doing in financial education, and we celebrated the achievements of students involved in the CCPC’s Our Money, Our Future sponsorship initiative.
We hope you’re as excited as we are for Global Money Week 2025 – make sure to check out all the content coming to our website, Instagram and Facebook over the next few days!
You can also visit the Global Money Week website for more information on how other countries are participating this year.
