Audi Ireland recalls A4 vehicles

Audi Ireland is recalling certain Audi vehicle models. These are the A4 Saloon, A4 Avant and A4 Allroad, which were manufactured between November 2011 and mid-October 2014.
Audi Ireland has discovered that in very rare instances, the front airbags may not inflate correctly in the event of an accident. The rectification process will involve a software update in the airbag control unit.
A total of 2,740 vehicles are affected by this recall in Ireland.
What to Do
Audi Ireland is currently contacting all customers who purchased one of the affected models. Customers affected by this recall should contact an authorised Audi Dealer so that the software update can be performed promptly. This update will be free of charge.
A list of all authorised Audi Dealers is available on the Audi Ireland website www.audi.ie.
Audi Ireland recommends that their customers continue to drive the affected vehicles until the software update is carried out.
