Renault recalls Clio IV
July 3, 2015
Renault Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Clio IV vehicles. There is a potential of a low leakage from both front flexible brake hoses or in extreme cases a sudden bursting of the flexible hose. This could lead to risk of brake fluid loss and cause reduced braking efficiency. The manufacture period of affected vehicles is from 05/03/2013 to 10/09/2014. There are 1,675 affected vehicles in Ireland.
What to do
Letters will be sent by Renault Ireland to owners of affected vehicles and customers will be asked to arrange an appointment to have the car repaired at an authorised service agent. This repair will be free of charge. Customers can also call Renault’s Low-call number 1890 771 771 for more details.
