DIMPCO recall Dimplex Dehumidifier

A safety issue has been identified with a batch of Dimplex portable dehumidifiers – DXDH10N & DH212. A component on the printed circuit board may overheat, resulting in the product catching fire.

The affected products can be identified by the Serial Number on the product which can be located on the product rating plate.  This is accessible by removing the water tank.

The Serial Number of affected products start with: 0, 1 or 2.

Dehumidifiers with a different model or serial number are not affected.

What to do:

If you have an affected dehumidifier Dimpco advise, to STOP USING IT immediately by switching it off at the mains socket and unplugging the dehumidifier from the socket.

Consumers affected by this safety notice are urged to contact Dimpco as soon as possible  by email at service@dimpco.ie or call the Dimpco Helpline on 1 800 569 569* so that Dimpco can arrange to provide a replacement product.
