Land Rover Ireland recalls Discovery 4, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport

Land Rover Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models:

• Land Rover Discovery 4 – 2012 and 2013 Model Year vehicles.
• Range Rover Sport – 2012 and 2013 Model Year vehicles.
• Range Rover – 2013 and 2014 Model Year vehicles.

There is a possibility that the vehicle may not start or may start and operate as normal for a period of time before the engine cuts out without any detectable warning signs. Engine cut out with minimal warning could potentially cause a crash.

There are 240 affected vehicles on the Irish market.

What to do:

Letters will be sent by Land Rover to the owners of the affected vehicles informing them of the recall and asking that they contact their Land Rover dealer to arrange for the required work to be completed.

The work carried out as part of the recall will be completed free of charge.
