BMW AG Mini Vehicle recall

BMW is recalling a number of vehicle Mini models manufactured between 2006 and 2011.
The reason for the recall is due to an issue with overheating of an electrical water pump in the engine compartment that could, in a very small number of cases, lead to a vehicle fire.
The recall affects 292 vehicles in Ireland.

What to do:
Letters will be sent to owners of the affected vehicles and customers will be asked to arrange an appointment to have the required work completed at their authorised service agent. You can also contact Mini customer service on 1890 719 423.
Any work carried out as part of this recall will be completed free of charge.
