Dunnes Stores ‘Boys Fur Lined Trapper Hat’ recall

Dunnes Stores is carrying out a voluntary recall of the following four styles of ‘boys fur lined trapper hats’ as there is a potential risk that the fastener may become detached leading to a choking hazard.

Style No. 62-43417 – 62-43404 Brown Hat 6-12 months 1-2 year 3-5 years
Style No. 62-43417 – 62-43402 Navy Polyester Hat 6-12 months 1-2 year 3-5 years
Style No. 62-43417 Red/Navy Hat 6-12 months 1-2 year 3-5 years
Style No. 62-43402 Grey /navy check Hat 6-12 months 1-2 year 3-5 years

 

This product has been on sale in Dunnes Stores since October 2011.

16,846 of these hats have been sold in Ireland.

What to do:

If your child has one of these hats stop using it immediately.

Affected consumers can return the hat to any Dunnes Stores outlet where they will receive a full refund.
