‘Specialized’ bicycles safety recall

Specialized UK Ltd is recalling various bicycle models as the brake boss could become loose from the fork, in which case the front function could be impaired and the brake boss could interfere with the rotation of the front wheel.

The recall affects the following 2011 model year Specialized Bicycles:

• Sirrus Comp
• Vita Comp
• Tricross,
• Sirrus Expert
• Vita Expert
• Tricross Comp
• Sirrus Elite
• Vita Elite
• Tricross Sport

The recall affects 393 bicycles sold in Ireland.

What to do:

If you have one of the above bicycle models stop riding it immediately and return it to an authorised Specialized retailer for a free replacement fork, which will be replaced free of charge.
