Argos recalls Sapphire Baby Stroller
January 10, 2011
Argos has identified a fault with its Sapphire Baby pushchair (Catalogue number 376/5555). This product is exclusively sold in Argos, which has placed approximately 120 strollers on the Irish market.
In a small number of cases the bolt that holds the frame together has come loose causing the pushchair to collapse. This could lead to injury to a child in the pushchair at the time.
To date there have been no reported incidents in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do:
Any customers who have purchased the stroller through home delivery will be written to directly. If you have purchased one of these pushchairs stop using it immediately and return it to your nearest Argos store for a full refund.
