Dunnes Stores recalls MP3 Accessory Sets

Dunnes Stores is recalling the following three MP3 player accessory sets due to a potential safety issue associated with these products:

• iTouch 8-piece accessory set (Style No. 6338573)
• Nano 8-piece accessory set (Style No. 6338574), sold in black (Barcode: 5099013075049).
• iPhone 8-piece accessory set (Style No. 6338572), sold in black (Barcode: 5099013075018) and in White (Barcode: 5099013075025).

This recall is being carried out due to a danger that the home charger in each of the sets could shortcircuit and stop working resulting in equipment failure or an electric shock.

The products have been on sale since the 5th November 2010. A total of 1,243 units of these products have been sold by Dunnes in Ireland.

What to do:

If you have purchased this item, stop using it immediately and return it to any Dunnes Stores outlet for a full refund.
