Mazda vehicle recall

Mazda Motors Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on the Mazda 3 & Mazda 3 MPS models due to issue with windshield wiper motor. The affected vehicles were produced from 7 January 2008 through 22 December 2008.

In certain conditions the wiper may become inoperative, as the wiper motor may have inadvertently bent during assembly.

The recall involves 784 vehicles in Ireland.

What to do:

Mazda are notifying affected customers by letter inviting them to make an appointment with any Mazda Authorised repairer.

Any work carried out as part of this recall will be completed free of charge.
