Peugeot recalls passenger vehicle Type 5008 II

Peugeot is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain 5008 II models of motor vehicles manufactured between 05 September 2016 and 24 August 2017.
Peugeot has established the issue as a “contact between a fuel hose and the aerodynamic screen located under the fuel tank, which could cause a leak underneath the vehicle over time.” The risk involved: “Fuel leakage onto the road cannot be fully ruled out, and could cause another car to lose control or could result in fire.”
This recall is estimated to affect 79 passenger vehicles in Ireland.
