Suzuki recalls Suzuki Baleno, Swift, Ignis passenger car

Suzuki Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of the Suzuki Baleno, Swift, Ignis passenger car.
The production range of the affected vehicles is from May 2016 to 2017.
There is a possibility that due to lack of strength of the water pump belt driving ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) and the water pump, the belt may break during usage. If the belt is broken, ISG and the water pump may became inoperative, the charging light comes on due to shortage of generated voltage and the coolant temperature warning light comes on due to rise of coolant temperature. In worst case, engine may stall and may not be able to re-start.
There are 76 affected vehicles on the Irish market.
