Argos recalls its ‘Home Cafetière’ (Black) product

Argos Distributors (Ireland) Limited (trading as Argos) is carrying out a voluntary recall of its ‘Home Cafetière’ product. The product was sold in two variants: 

1) Cafetière (Black) 3 cup (Product/Catalogue Number 8477305) and,

2) Cafetière (Black) 8 cup (Product/Catalogue Number 8479176).

A safety issue has been identified, whereby, it is possible that due to inconsistent glass thickness, these products are susceptible to breakage which could cause injury to users.

Approximately 910 units of this product have been sold on the Irish market via Argos retail stores.

What to do:

If you have purchased this product, then consumers are advised to stop using it immediately and return the product to any Argos store in the Republic of Ireland where a full refund will be provided. Consumers are asked to take care when handling the item and package, before returning to store, in order to prevent breakages and injury.
