Audi recalls certain ‘A3’ passenger vehicles
March 20, 2019
A voluntary recall is being carried out by Audi Ireland, on certain Audi A3 passenger vehicles. The vehicles affected were produced between April and June 2018.
A safety issue has been identified, whereby, it is possible that in affected vehicles the locking pin for securing the head restraints may be missing from some head restraints on the central rear seat. This may compromise the protective and supportive effect of the head restraint.
Approximately 207 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland are affected by this recall campaign. Vehicle owners will be contacted directly by Audi Ireland and will be asked to bring their vehicles to an authorised repairer where necessary repairs/replacement of parts will be carried out.
