Audi recalls certain ‘Q5’ passenger vehicles

A voluntary recall is being carried out by Audi Ireland, on certain Audi Q5 passenger vehicles. The vehicles affected were produced between July 2015 and August 2019.
A safety issue has been identified, owing to component tolerances and variations in the manufacturing process, the rear wheelhouse trims may not have been adequately and permanently clipped/attached to the bodywork. On the vehicles concerned, the rear wheelhouse trims may loosen over time and in some cases become detached.
This recall affects 1,342 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do
Vehicle owners will be contacted directly by Audi Ireland and asked to bring their vehicles to an authorised repairer where necessary repairs/replacement of parts will be carried out.
