Beko 8kg & 9kg tumble dryer voluntary repair programme

Beko Plc are initiating a voluntary repair programme as a precautionary measure to locate 3,450 8kg & 9kg Beko and Blomberg condenser tumble dryers manufactured between May and November 2012.
Beko Plc have identified a batch issue with a third party supplied component which in rare circumstances could fail and overheat, which could lead to a risk of fire.
Beko Plc have decided to proactively contact the owners of these condenser tumble dryers to offer a free of charge in-home check and to modify affected products to remove any potential risk.
What to do:
Consumers should initially check the model and serial number of your 8kg or 9kg Beko or Blomberg Condenser Tumble Dryer using the appliance checker on Beko websites at: www.beko.co.uk/dryerrepair or www.blomberguk.com/dryerrepair

Affected models with serial numbers
If your product is in the affected date range (manufactured between May and October 2012), complete the online registration form to arrange a free-of-charge engineer visit to check your product and modify it if required. Alternatively, you can call Beko by telephone on 1800 25 29 25 to speak to a member of their customer service team between 8.00am and 8.00pm Monday to Friday, or 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Beko also advice consumers who may own a potentially affected product, please stop using it immediately as a precaution.
