BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited recalls CE04 Motorcycles

BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited is carrying out a recall of CE04 Motorcycles.
The affected products were manufactured from 05 November 2020 to 29 August 2022.
The risk associated with the product is that of injuries. The screw connection of the horn to the frame may come loose under certain boundary conditions. As a result, the horn can fold away downwards. In this case, the available steering angle to the left is severely restricted. Critical riding situations are possible as a result.
The brand is BMW. The EC-type approval/models are Typbezeichnung: MCEV and Typgenehmigungsnummer: e1*168/2013*00279*00.
There are approximately 4 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do:
Customers should stop using the product and return it to BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited for a replacement screw.
