BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited recalls for repair R 1250 GS, R 1250 GSA and R1250 RT motorcycles.

The affected products were manufactured from December 2022.

The product presents a risk of injuries. The gearbox shaft could be damaged. This can lead to the rider falling from the motorcycle resulting in bruising and fractures.

The brand is BMW. The models are R 1250 GS, R 1250 GSA and R1250 RT motorcycles.

There are approximately 529 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do

Customers should stop using the product and return it to BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited where engine management software will be updated on the motorcycle.
