BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited recalls for repair S1000RR, M1000RR, S1000R and S1000XR motorcycles.
The affected products were manufactured from September 2022.
The product presents a risk of injuries. The screws on the clutch cover can become loose leading to an oil leak. This can lead to the rider falling from the motorcycle resulting in bruising and fractures.
The brand is BMW. The models are S1000RR, M1000RR, S1000R and S1000XR.
There are approximately 8 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do
Customers should stop using the product and return it to BMW Automotive (Ireland) Limited for replacement cover bolts.
