Citroen recalls Berlingo B9 and Dispatch III

Citroen Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Berlingo B9 and Dispatch III motor vehicles.  These vehicles were produced between April and May 2016.

It has been identified the driver’s airbag inflation device may not conform to specification on the affected vehicles. This may result in incorrect deployment of this airbag in the event of an impact. This campaign consists of replacing the driver’s airbag module.

There are 66 affected vehicles on the Irish market.

What to do

All affected customers will be notified directly by post by Citroen inviting them to contact their nearest Citroen dealer to arrange for the necessary work to be carried out free of charge. Should you wish to contact Citroen, please ring their customer service number on 01-8108800.
