Citroen recalls C4 Cactus

Citroen Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain C4 Cactus vehicles manufactured between 9 September 2015 and 12 May 2017.
The risk identified on affected vehicles is the cable of the catch inside the bonnet is insufficiently secured. It may therefore start to deteriorate, as a result of which there is a slight risk that the bonnet may open unexpectedly.
The repair involves fitting an additional stiffener to secure the striker wire assembly on the bonnet lining. In very rare cases, the bonnet will need to be replaced. A total of 479 vehicles in Ireland. Are affected by this recall
What to do
All affected consumers will be notified directly by letter by Citroen, inviting them, to contact their nearest Citroen dealer, to arrange for the necessary work to be carried out free of charge.
