Citroen recalls C4 Cactus and C4 (B7) DS4

Citroen Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain C4 Cactus vehicles manufactured between 11 July 2014 and 24 August 2015 and certain C4 (B7) DS4 vehicles manufactured between 12 March 2011 and 31 January 2015.

On affected vehicles, the striker wire support on the bonnet lining may prove insufficiently secure for its intended purpose.

The recall involves fitting an additional stiffener to secure the striker wire assembly on the bonnet lining or in very rare cases, the bonnet may need to be replaced.

What to do:
