Dacia recalls certain Sandero and Logan passenger vehicles

A voluntary recall is being carried out on certain Dacia Sandero and Dacia Logan passenger vehicles. The affected vehicles were produced between 03 April 2018 and 08 August 2018.
Dacia has identified a safety issue, whereby due to a change in packing methods, it was found that the airbag may tear on deployment, but only if the temperature is above 60 degrees Celsius.
There are 80 affected vehicles on the Irish market.
What to do:
Dacia will be contacting consumers by letter, in order to arrange an appointment for necessary repairs to be carried out.
