Epson recall AC adapters for scanners

Epson are recalling certain AC adapters for scanners.

There is a possibility that the DC plug on the scanner side may overheat causing burns and rendering the power adapter unusable.

The affected products are the power adapters for certain models of the Epson Perfection Scanner, manufactured from January 2010 to December 2012.

The potentially affected AC Adapters are supplied together with the following scanner models:

–       Epson Perfection V30

–       Epson Perfection V33

–       Epson Perfection V300

–       Epson Perfection V330

–       Epson Perfection V37

–       Epson Perfection V370

What to do:

Please stop using this adapter immediately and contact Epson on: (01) 436 7742. Lines will be open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, so that you can arrange to have your adapter collected and replaced.
