Fiat Auto recall FIAT 500L

In March 2018, Fiat Auto (Ireland) Limited, advised that the insulation of the electric cable in the auxiliary heater may become damaged which may give rise to a short circuit and cause a fire. The vehicles in question were manufactured between 24 August 2012 and 14 September 2017.

There were 283 affected vehicles placed on the Irish market.

What to do:

Fiat Auto (Ireland) Limited has decided to take preventative recall action. The owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by Fiat Auto (Ireland) Limited and asked to take their vehicle to a Fiat Auto (Ireland) Limited dealer or authorised repairer. This work will be carried out at no cost to the owner.
