Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Ireland recalls Fiat 500X motor vehicles

In November 2018, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Germany AG, issued a voluntary recall of Fiat 500X vehicles as a faulty latch could cause the seat back to fold forward in the event of an accident. The vehicles in question were manufactured between 2 June 2015 and 17 August 2018.

There were 138 affected vehicles placed on the Irish market.

What to do:

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Ireland DAC has decided to take preventative recall action. All owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Ireland DAC to arrange for the replacement of the seat back latch bezels. This work will be carried out at no cost to the owner.
