Fisher Price recalls 2-in-1 Soothe ‘n Play Glider

Mattel is carrying out a voluntary recall of the Fisher Price 2-in-1 Soothe ‘n Play Glider.

The affected product numbers are GWD46, FYY21, GGW85, and HBD64, which can be found on the underside of the product.

While there have been no reports of serious injuries or deaths in the 2-in-1 Soothe ‘n Play Gliders, Mattel are recalling the product globally due to reports in the United States of four infant deaths in a similar product sold in North America. The infants were reportedly placed on their backs unrestrained in the product and later found on their stomachs.

There are approximately 88 affected units in the Republic of Ireland.
