Gowan Distributors Limited recalls various Peugeot passenger vehicles

Gowan Distributors Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of the following Peugeot passenger vehicles: 

208: manufactured between 07/11/2016 and 27/06/2018

2008: manufactured between 06/12/2017 and 19/06/2018

308 II: manufactured between 14/10/2016 and 18/06/2018

3008 II: manufactured between 16/06/2016 and 18/06/2018

5008 II: manufactured between 05/09/2017 and 29/06/2018

Traveller/ Expert: manufactured between 02/06/2017 and 22/05/18

During first mileage, a plastic component (spacer) included in the exhaust line could damage the Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) under certain conditions, creating small cracks or holes. Diesel particulates pollute our air and can damage our health.

This recall affects 110 passenger vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
