Hasbro recalls certain ‘Super Soaker’ toy products

Hasbro European Services is carrying out a voluntary recall of its “Super Soaker XP20 (Model Number E6286)” and “Super Soaker XP30 (Model Number E6289)”, toy products.
A safety issue has been identified, whereby it is possible that some of the stickers on the products water tank may contain ink with lead, which exceeds regulatory requirements. Therefore, the products may not be in full compliance with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive.
The toy product was distributed to Baileys Toymaster in Gorey, Co. Wexford. The recall affects approximately 24 units of the Super Soaker XP20 (Model Number E6286) super soaker in the Republic of Ireland. However, given its potential online availability and the free movement principals within the EU, it remains a possibility that Super Soaker XP30 (Model Number E6289) may have also been distributed on the Irish market.
What to do:
If you believe that you may have purchased an affected product, discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children. You can return the product to the retailer from whom you purchased it. Consumers can visit www.SuperSoakerRecall.com for more information.
