Henry Ford & Son Limited recalls certain Transit and Transit Custom vehicles

Henry Ford & Son Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Ford Transit and Transit Custom passenger and light commercial vehicles. The vehicles in question were produced between 04/10/2019 and 29/07/2020. There are 226 vehicles affected on the Irish market.

A safety issue has been identified, where lower control arms with missing or partial welds may be fitted to some vehicles.

What to do:

Ford Ireland will be writing to all affected vehicle owners directly advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer so that this rework may be carried out.
