Hewlett-Packard and Compaq power cord recall

Hewlett-Packard is recalling its LS-15 AC power cord. These power cords were distributed with HP and Compaq notebook computers, mini notebook computers and AC adapter-powered accessories, such as docking stations. The power cords are black and have an ‘LS-15’ moulded mark on the AC adapter end of the cord. These power cords were sold from September 2010 – June 2012 and may pose a potential fire and burn hazard.
Up to 8,020 power cords may have been sold in the Irish market. HP customers will receive a replacement AC power cord for each verified, recalled power cord at no cost.

- Immediately stop using your AC power cord.
