Hyundai Ireland recalls passenger vehicles on Santa Fe DM models

Hyundai Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Hyundai Santa Fe DM passenger vehicles that were produced between June 15th 2017 and January 25th 2018.
Hyundai has established the vehicles steering wheel may fail to operate correctly.
This affects 217 cars in Ireland.
What to do:
Hyundai Ireland will be writing directly to the owners of the affected vehicles to arrange to have their steering wheels inspected and depending on the serial number found, it may need to be replaced with a modified version. The letter will advise owners to contact their nearest authorised Hyundai service centre to have the required action completed which will be free of charge.
