It has been reported that there’s a serious chemical risk relating to e-Writing Board (LCD Writing Tablet) toy with no readily identifiable make or model number.

During ordinary use of the e-Writing Board (LCD Writing Tablet) a vulnerable user – young child – can access the battery compartment and release the battery. This may lead to the young child ingesting the battery, causing chemical burns to internal organs.

The above product was sold online through Amazon. 24 units in total were purchased in Ireland.

 

What to do:

If you believe you have purchased any of the affected e-Writing Boards (LCD Writing Tablets), discontinue the use of the product immediately and dispose of the product appropriately. You may wish to contact the online store from where you purchased this product to see if there are any remedies available to you. This can be done via your user account on the Amazon website.
