Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited recalls certain ‘Land Rover Discovery’ passenger vehicles

Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain ‘Land Rover Discovery’ passenger vehicles.

A concern has been identified where, due to insufficient contact of the battery earth stud to the chassis, the vehicle may exhibit various electrical faults. The vehicle could cut out while in motion and may lose all electrical power. Vehicle cut out while in motion and loss of exterior lighting without warning to the driver could lead to an increased risk of an accident.

The vehicles in question were manufactured from 21 September 2018 to 31 August 2020.

There are 341 affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local dealer or authorised repairer, where necessary works will be carried out on vehicles.
