KIA Ireland recalls ‘Picanto’
August 6, 2019
Kia Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of ‘Picanto’ vehicles. The vehicles in question were manufactured in 2012. Kia Ireland has identified problems with the fuel filler hose and levelling hose. The outer surface of these hoses has been found to wear over time. In extreme cases, it is possible that the inner surface of the hose could also fail, potentially resulting in a fuel leak.
This recall affects 174 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
What to do
Kia Ireland will be writing directly to those customers affected to advise of further steps.
